Joe Aragona

Joe Aragona was appointed to the Board of Directors in January 2001. Joe served on TANTAU Software Inc.'s Board of Directors from April 1999 until 724 Solutions' acquisition of TANTAU in January 2001.
Joe Aragona is one of the founders of Austin Ventures and has served as a general partner since 1982. He currently focuses on services and special situations investing, and has a successful track record of investing in a broad range of industries. Joe joined Austin Ventures from the Merchant Banking division of the Bank of Boston.
Joe received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BA from Harvard University. Joe has been a member of the Board of Directors of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) since 1999, chaired its Research Committee and is past Chairman. Joe is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Lance Armstrong Foundation (laf.org) which focuses on cancer survivorship issues, and Casa Montessori, an early childhood development center.
